People complaining about the slow service, shut up. Good food takes time! No matter where you go! Cook the same meal at home and tell me how long it takes!!!
These are the places that when you say 'Rare', and expect something like a crappy Twin Cities place to give you a medium-well steak, you are going to need to change your expectations, because the steak is going to be bloody, juicy, and just warm, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
Great burgers and sandwiches, I recommend the Dam Burger! The bacon on there is outstanding. Fried green beans are my favorite appetizer. The staff is nice and the bar is great.
Nothing like northwoods restaurants! I always try to judge food joints based on location, and when you are in the middle of nowhere, and the nearest decent grocery store (Cub, SuperOne, Rainbow, etc. etc.) is hours away, you can expect some damn good food!
This isn't a big city four star restaurant, it is a backwoods, you got lost and needed directions and food four star restaurant!!! All I can say, is it's not great, but it's 'Dam' good!!!

Absolutely the the best black and blue burger I have ever had. Salad bar was delicious as well. Love the large chunks of blue cheese in the blue cheese dressing. Will definitely visit again. My co worker said his Rueben d luscious as well. Thank you so much for the friendly service.
